Framgangsmåte for varmforsegling av en pappkartong med et ensidig polymerbelegg, samt produkter framstilt ved samme. Foldete pappbeholdere for matvarer med et polymerbelegg kun på den innvendige overflata, og salgsmerking på ei hovedsakelig uplastifisert le/irebelagt utvendig overflate, blir varmforseglet ved tilstøtende områder ved overlappende klaffer der den polymerbelagte innvendige overflata er i direkte kontakt med en liten del av den leirebelagte utvendige overflata, eller der det er ønskelig å feste to deler av den leirebelagte utvendige overflata sammen. I slike varmforseglingsområder blir små og nøye lokaliserte utvendig leirebelagte pappoverflateområder grunnet med en vannbasert polymeremulsjon, slik som etylenvinylacetat som er nøyaktig påført slike områder med ei trykkepresse.
