Abstract

En fremgangsmåte til overforing av 1544 resp. 6312 kbit/s-signaler over 2048. resp. 8448 kbit/s-samband er ikke kjent i synkron-digital-multiplekshierarkiet og skal derfor angis.Et 1544 kbit/s-signal blir i multi-pleksretningen innføyd i en beholder (C-ll) med en luketakt (LT) på 2048 kHz og som utvides med et veirammehode (V5) til en virtuell beholder (VC-lln) . Overføring skjer over en 2048 kbit/s-samband (L) med en sambandsbe-holder (s-lln) , til hvilken det for overføringen tilordnes et hode (OH) og pekerbyter (Vl]_^-V4n) . Etter en tilføy-else av utslutningsbyter (FS) kan 1544 kbit/s-signalet mates inn i et undersy-stem (TU-12]_) . I demultipleksretningen må utslutningsbytene (FS) fjernes fra en undersystemenhet (TU-12) og pekerbytene (Vl-V4) med hjelp av en 2048 kHz luketakt (LT^) og et hode (OH]_2) ved hjelp av en 2048 kHz takt (T) innføyes for overføringen over en 2048 kbit/s-samband. Etter overføringen blir hodet (OH)pekerbytene (Vl-V4i) °9 veirammehodet (V5) fjernet, slik at 1544 kbit/s-signalet (C-II) kan tas ut av beholderen.verføringen av et 6312 kbit/s-signal skjer på tilsvarende måte.
