Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for leding av vanne generert i elektronikkutstyr rommet i et vindkrafttårn ved bruk av tårnet som et kjølelegeme for avkjølingsformål. Overføringen av varme skjer ved væskekjøling av elektronikkutstyret og ved sirkulering av væsken gjennom en vanneveksler, som er termisk festet til tårnet. Vinden som blåser over tårnet med høye vindhastigheter og kraftnivåer avkjøler så tårnet. En fremgangsmåte benytter et kobberrør, som er i termisk kontakt med tårnet. I en annen fremgangsmåte er de varmegenererende komponenter montert direkte til tårnet. En tredje fremgangsmåte benytter en væske-til-luft-varmeveksler plassert i intervaller over den ytre omkretsen av tårnet. I alle tre tilfeller blir tårnet som står i vinden benyttet til å fjerne varmen fra styringssystemet.
