Abstract
MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA RECUPERAçãO DE ENERGIA E/OU RESFRIAMENTO EM PELO MENOS UMA CéLULA DE ELETRóLISE A presente invenção diz respeito a um método e a um sistema de recuperação de energia e/ou resfriamento em pelo menos uma célula de eletrólise (1) para a produção de um metal, em particular alumínio, onde a(s) célula(s) é(são) provida(s) com um ou mais trocadores de calor e onde um meio de troca de calor circula pelo(s) dito(s) trocador(s) de calor e é adicionalmente direcionado pelo menos para uma unidade de conversão de calor, tal como uma turbina do expansor de circuito aberto (3). A turbina do expansor é conectada a um compressor (2) que supre o meio de troca de calor às células (1, 51). Em uma modalidade, uma segunda turbina do expansor (40) é conectada a um gerador (41) que pode ser aplicado para produção de eletricidade, O sistema é substancialmente autopropelido e o meio de troca de calor é preferivelmente ar aplicado em um circuito aberto.
