Abstract
Det er tilveiebrakt et bygningsmateriale med en høyere egenvekt og/eller radioaktiv-stråle-skjermingsfunksjon som opprettholder en formbarhet som er ekvivalent med det for en konvensjonell gipsplate. Den angår et gipsbasert bygningsmateriale produsert ved tilsetning av vann til en sammensetning hvori et basismateriale er en kombinasjon av en hydraulisk gips og én type eller to eller flere typer av tørrherdende kalsiumkarbonat eller kalsiumhydroksid eller syntetiske harpiksemulsjoner og et uorganisk fyllstoff med en høy egenvekt er kompoundert til den slik at reaksjon og stivning eller tørking og stivning utføres, hvor sammensetningen er kjennetegnet ved at den omfatter 100 vektdeler av minst én type eller to eller flere typer av basismaterialer valgt fra gruppen bestående av kalsiumsulfat, kalsiumkarbonat, kalsiumhydroksid og organiske syntetiske harpiksemulsjoner, og 50-3000 vektdeler av minst én type eller to eller flere typer av uorganiske fyllstoffer hvis virkelig egenvekt er 3,5-6,0 som er valgt fra gruppen bestående av bariumklorid, sinkoksid, aluminiumoksid, titanoksid, bariumoksid, strontiumkarbonat, bariumkarbonat og bariumsulfat.
