Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en forpakningsenhet (1) for en flerhet av rørseksjoner (2) av mineralull, med et innpakningsmateriale (5), som i det minste delvis omslutter en flerhet av rørseksjoner (2) for å danne forpakningsenheten (1), idet innpakningsmaterialet (5) er anordnet rundt rørseksjonene (2) under trykk, mens rørseksjonene (2) som et resultat av trykket er foldet inne i forpakningsenheten (1) med reduksjon av hulrommet i rørseksjonene (2), og idet rørseksjonene (2) er utformet elastisk slik at det i den foldede tilstand bygges opp restitueringskrefter for gjenopprettelse av den ikke-sammenfoldede utgangsform. Ved hjelp av forpakningsenheten (1) ifølge oppfinnelsen kan en flerhet av rørseksjoner (2) transporteres og lagres meget økonomisk. I denne forbindelse får rørseksjonene (2) ikke begrenset funksjonalitet, men kan etter fjerning av forpakningsenheten (1) benyttes direkte og uten restriksjoner, for eksempel til isolasjon av piper.
