Abstract

SAMMENDRAG Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringe r blandinger omfattende en RNAi-induserende enhet målrettet mot et influensavirus-transkript og hvilke som helst av en rekke midler for levering. Oppfinnelsen omfatter videre fremgangsmåter for anvendelse av blandingene for å hemme en biologisk aktivitet av et influensavirus og/eller for behandling eller forebygging av influensa. Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer mål-andel sekvenser som er fordelaktig konservert for RNAi gjennom en rekke influensavirus A-stammer isolert fra humane verter og/eller fugle-verter og RNAi-induserende enheter, f.eks. siRNA'er og shRNA'er, målrettet mot slike fordelaktig konserverte mål-andeler. Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer en rekke nukleinsyrer omfattende sekvenser identiske eller komplementære til minst en del av én eller flere av disse fordelaktig konserverte mål-andel-sekvensene. Oppfinnelsen tilveiebringer videre fremgangsmåter og blandinger for levering av RNAi-induserende midler til et organ eller vev av et mammalsk subjekt, f.eks. til lungen.
