Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse vedrører forbedrede varianter av løselige pyrrolokinolinkinon (PQQ)-avhengige glukosedehydrogenaser (s-GDH) som omfatter et aminosyreinnskudd mellom posisjonene 428 og 429 tilsvarende aminosyresekvensen som er kjent fra Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, til gener som koder for slike variant-s-GDH, til proteiner av slike s-GDH-varianter med forbedret substratspesifisitet for glukose og fil ulike applikasjoner av disse s-GDH-variantene, spesielt for å bestemme konsentrasjoner av sukker, spesielt av glukose i en prøve.
