Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse er en apparatur og fremgangsmåte for å avkjøle og avdampe varm kalsinert gips anvendt i produksjonen av gipsplater eller gips pakket i sekker. Apparaturen er en fluidsjiktgipskjøler og omfatter et kjølerhus som har et plenum som har et gipsinnløp og gipsutløp. Gipskjøleren inkluderer en roterende skive i plenumet. Den roterende skiven inkluderer dyse for spraying av fluid, og er tilknyttet til en roterbar aksel som strekker seg fra siden av kjøleren og inkluderer også en fluidiseringsrampe og rører for å hjelpe til å blande luften og gipspulveret for å sikre fluidisering, forhindre kanaldannelse og forhindre at gipspulveret bygger seg opp på de forskjellige komponentene.
