Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Apparatur und ein Verfahren zur Untersuchung von Feststoffkatalysatoren und Prozessen, bei denen diskontinuierliche Fluidströme auftreten. Die erfindungsgemäße Apparatur, die vorzugsweise zur parallelen Untersuchung von einer Mehrzahl von Katalysatoren ausgelegt ist, weist zumindest einen Reaktionsraumauf, wobei jedem Reaktionsraum ein oder mehrere Fluidmischräume nachgeschaltet sind. Die Ausgangsleitung des Fluidmischraums oder auch die Ausgangsleitung einer Sequenz von Fluidmischräumen steht mit einem Drosselelement (11) in Wirkverbindung, wobei das Drosselelement (11) mit einem Analysengerät sowie einer Ausgangsleitung in Wirkverbindung steht und die Ausgangsleitung eine Regeleinrichtung aufweist. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ist durch eine zyklische Betriebsweise gekennzeichnet, bei der einekontrollierte Zuführung von zumindest einem Produktfluid in den zumindest einen Fluidmischraum erfolgt, der Produktfluidstrom im Mischraum durchmischt wird und der zumindest eine durchmischte Produkfluidstrom der Ausgangsleitung und dem Analysengerät zugeführt wird. Ein Zyklus hat eine Zeitdauer im Bereich von 0,2bis 7200 Sekunden und kann dabei mehrere Phasen mit unterschiedlicher Zusammensetzung aufweisen. Das Verfahren kanneine Mehrzahl von Zyklen umfassen.
