Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for optisk inspeksjon av overflatesponet på en overflate. Fremgangsmåten omfatter det å rette en lysstråle (13) mot overflaten (2) av et trestykke (1) som undersøkes i en retning (D) som avviker fra flatenormalen til nevnte overflate. Overflaten avbildes av et kamera (8) med et bildeplan (9) som dannes av flere optoelektroniske, lysfølsomme piksler, ved med forbestemt mellomrom å ta bilder av overflaten av trestykket som beveger seg i forhold til kameraet, der hvert bilde er i form av elektroniske bildedata. Bildedataene for to suksessive elektroniske bilder subtraheres for å oppnå et sett av pikselrelaterte differansedata som beskriver treoverflaten som undersøkes, og differansedataene anvendes for å uttrykke variasjoner i overflateruheten til overflaten som undersøkes.
