Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for improving the thermal insulation of frames of heat-insulated profiles for windows, doors and the like, as stated in the introduction to claim 1. There are numerous proposals for how the thermal insulation of profiles and thus the thermal insulation of frames assembled from these. This is particularly achieved by introducing heat-insulating material into the cavities in the profiles so that heat radiation and heat convection are reduced (see DE-OS 3 440 710).
As an illustration of prior art in the area, reference should be made to NO 109126, NO B 161187, SE B 409220, EP A3 0131279, as well as previously submitted, but at the time of the submission of the present application, not generally available, EP Al 0560193.
When surface treatment of profiles equipped in this way, one is faced with difficulties or the production of cut parts of profiles equipped in this way can prove difficult. The purpose of the invention is therefore to simplify the manufacturing method for frames where the aforementioned difficulties are avoided.
According to the present invention, the purpose is fulfilled by a method of the kind mentioned at the outset, the characteristic features of which appear in claim 1. Further features of the method appear in the other independent claims.
Thus, a simple and cheap manufacturing method has been provided, at the same time that the previous difficulties in terms of surface treatment and cutting of the profiles have been bypassed.
It is particularly recommended to introduce the heat-insulating material at most in one place of the frame.
According to a preferred embodiment, the heat-insulating material is introduced in the form of small particles, where these are particles, in particular as granules of organic substances or substance mixtures, preferably silicates, metal oxides or the like, or balls of foamed plastic such as polyamide, polyethylene .
The introduction of the heat-insulating material takes place preferably by filling or by the material being blown in and/or sucked in from a storage container. According to an embodiment of the invention, in addition to at least one air inlet opening, at least one air outlet opening is arranged which is covered with a strainer or the like that retains particles. To improve the degree of filling during the filling process, the frame is set in oscillations preferably mechanically, electrically or with ultrasound.
Oppfinnelsen blir nærmere forklart under henvisning til utførelseseksempler som er vist på tegningene og der The invention is explained in more detail with reference to embodiment examples shown in the drawings and therein
Fig. 1 schematically shows a heat-insulated frame 1 for windows, doors or the like made of profiles 2 whose profile cross-section is shown in fig. 1. The heat-insulated profile 2 consists of e.g. of two aluminum profiles 3, 4 which are kept at a distance from each other and are connected to each other by means of at least two insulating steps 5 which run parallel to each other and are inserted into grooves in the metal profiles 3, 4. Here one or more cavities are then formed 6 (the zones for thermal insulation are indicated dotted).
To improve the heat insulation, heat-insulating material 7 is introduced into the inner cavity 6. This takes place by introducing heat-insulating material 7 in the form of balls 8 into the finished frame 1 in at least one place designated by the reference number 9 in the cavity 6 in the profile 2 .
In fig. 3 and 4 are further blowing in resp. suction of balls 8 of a synthetic material such as polyamide, polyethylene, polystyrene, polyurethane or of organic granules from a storage container 10 shown. Here, in addition to at least one air inlet opening 9, at least one air outlet opening 11 is arranged which is covered with a strainer 12 or the like to retain particles 8.
