Description
Fremgangsmåte til massefremstilling av hule glassgjenstander,
for eksempel kolber for elektriske glødelamper.
Det er kjent en fremgangsmåte til
massefremstilling av hule glassgjenstander, for eksempel kolber for elektriske glø-delamper, hvor porsjoner skjæres av en glassmengde som strømmer ut av en utmatningsinnretning, og som tilføres bæreorganer med en sentral åpning i bunnen, hvoretter porsjonene etter at deres sentrale del er sunket gjennom bæreorganets åpning, underkastes en formnlngsbearbei-delse.
Ved en kjent fremgangsmåte som for eksempel er beskrevet i US-patentskrift nr.
2 405 557 blir de med avskjæringsmerker påførte avskårne glassporsjoner tilført
bæreorganet ved hjelp av en renne. An-vendelse av en slik renne utsetter glassporsjonen for en uønsket avkjøling og gir glassporsjonen en forholdsvis stor hastig-het, slik at den støter mot en vegg i en viderebearbeidelsesinnretning og avskjæringsmerkene kan derved få en uønsket
■stilling i forhold til åpningen i bæreorganet. Disse merker bør ligge på siden av åpningen i bæreorganet, fordi når slike avskjæringsmerker kommer med i det ferdige produkt kan de forårsake forstyrrende ujevnheter. Ved den kjente anordning anvendes videre et stempel for å trykke den sentrale del av glassporsjonen ut gjennom åpningen i bæreorganet for videre bearbeidelse.
Ved en fremgangsmåte som er kjent fra US-patentskrift nr. 2 271 004 har glassporsjonen rundt tverrsnitt og bæreorganet ingen sentral åpning, slik at her kan
heller ikke avskjæringsmerkenes plassering på bæreorganet fastlegges.
Hensikten med oppfinnelsen er derfor å sikre at avskjæringsmerkene kommer til å ligge i slik stilling på bæreorganet at de ikke gjør seg forstyrrende gjeldende i det ferdige produkt.
Dette oppnåes ifølge oppfinnelsen ved at der fra utmatningsinnrétningen hvis utstrømningsåpning har langstrakt tverrsnitt, mates ut til skjæremekanismen en glasstreng hvis utstrekning strekker seg på tvers av bæreorganenes bevegelsesret-ning, og at skjærebevegelsen er synkronisert med bevegelsen av bæreorganene, slik at når bæreorganet beveger seg langs undersiden av skjæremekanismen, vil den nedre ende av den ennu ikke avskårne glasstreng nå dette bæreorgans anleggsflate og som følge av bæreorganets viderebevegelse under skjæremekanismen vil glasstrengens hovedretning avbøyes, og at porsjonen først avskjæres fra glasstrengen når størstedelen av bæreorganets anleggsflate er dekket.
Ved hjelp av fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen kan der massefremstilles glassgjenstander av vilkårlig form. Fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen egner seg særlig til fremstilling av hule glassgjenstander, for eksempel glødelampekolber.
Noen utførelseseksempler på oppfinnelsen skal forklares nærmere under henvisning til tegningen.
Figur 1 viser en del av en utmatningsinnretning inneholdende en smeltet glassmengde som forlater utmatningsinnretningen i form av en glasstreng gjennom en utmatningsåpning i tounnen, samt en av-skjær in<g>smekanisme og et bæreorgan iføl-ge oppfinnelsen.
Figur 2 viser et snitt langs linjen II— II på figur 1. Figurene 3 til 8 viser bevegelsen av et bærelegeme i forhold til utmatningsåp-ningen i bunnen av utmatningsinnretningen og viser flere etter hverandre følgende stillinger av et bæreorgan som beveges langs undersiden av avskjæringsmekanismen, sett fra siden delvis i snitt og sett i grunnriss. Figur 9 viser et grunnriss av den virk-somme del av avskjæringsmekanismen. Figurene 10, 11 og 12 viser formend-ringen av glassporsjonen etter avsluttet skjærebevegelse. Figurene 13 og 14 viser en ytterligere utførelsesform av en innretning ifølge oppfinnelsen, hvor der under bæreorganet er anordnet en svingbar bunndel. Figur 13 viser denne bunndel i virksom stilling og figur 14 viser delen i uvirksom stilling. Ved fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen går man ut fra en glasstreng med langstrakt tverrsnitt av hvilken der skjæres en porsjon ved hjelp av en avskjæringsmekanisme. Et eksempel på hvorledes man opp-når et slikt langstrakt tverrsnitt er vist på figur 1 ved en i og for seg kjent utmatningsinnretning 1. Denne utmatningsinnretning har 1 sin bunndel 2 en utløps-kanal 3, videre en vertikalt bevegelig stav 4 og et om sin akse roterende rør 5. Gjennom utløpsåpningen 6 i ibunndelen 7 kan en smeltet glassmengde 8 forlate utmatningsinnretningen i form av en glasstireng 9. Ved at tverrsnittet av utløpsåpningen 6 er langstrakt oppnås at glasstrengen 9 like-ledes får langstrakt tverrsnitt. Dette tverrsnitt er vist på figur 2 ved 10.
Den fra utmatningsinnretningen uttredende glasstreng 9 blir da ved hjelp av en avskjæringsmekanisme 11 tilført et under avskjæringsmekanismen bevegelig bæreorgan 15 (figur 1). Ifølge fremgangsmåten er bæreorganet 15 som i bunnen har en sentral åpning 23, bevegelig under avskjæringsmekanismen 11 i den retning som er angitt med pilen 16. Som det fremgår av tegningen ligger da den i lengderetningen av terrsnittet 10 på tvers av bevegelsesret-ningen 16 for bæreorganet 15. Bevegelsen av bæreorganet 15 må være således inn-stillet at den inntar den stilling som er vist på figur 1 nettopp i det øyeblikk, i hvilket enden 17 av den ennu ikke avskårne glasstreng 9 kommer i berøring med bæreorganets 15 anleggsflate 18. Ved riktig valgt bevegelse av bæreorganet 15 i retning av pilen 16 vil hovedretningen av glasstrengen 9 bøyes av bæreorganet og en del av glasstrengen kan da legge seg på anleggsflaten 18 som vist på figur 3. Denne figur tilsvarer grunnrisset på figur 4, hvor den horisontale del av glasstrengen som dekker en del av flaten 18 er betegnet med
12. I det øyeblikk, i hvilket det stadig be-vegede bæreorgan 15 inntar den stilling i hvilken glasstrengen for størstedelen har dekket bæreorganets 15 flate 18, kan skjæremekanismen utføre sin skjærebevegelse
(figur 5). Etter videre bevegelse av bæreorganet 15 kan enden 24 av den avskårne glassporsjon 20 legge seg på flaten 18
som vist på figurene 7 og 8. Deretter synker den midtre del 22 av glassporsjonen 21
gjennom åpningen 23 i bunnen av bæreorganet 15 som vist for eksempel på figur 10.
Det er innlysende at skjærebevegelsen må være således synkronisert med bevegelsen av bæreorganet at glassporsjonen etter at glasstrengen er avskåret kommer til å ligge hel og utstrakt på flaten 18 på bæreorganet 15.
For utførelse av skjærebevegelsen kan med gunstig resultat anvendes en vanlig glassaks, hvis kniver 25 og 26 er delvis vist på figur 9. På denne figur er saksens kniver betegnet med 27 resp. 28 og glasstrengen med 29. Knivene 27 og 28 kan eventu-elt være forsynt med en fortanning som for eksempel antydet på figur 9 med 30.
Ved at de forholdsvis kalde avskjæ-ringskniver kommer i berøring med glass-strengen 9 under avskjæringen oppstår der på disse berøringssteder av de-n avskårne glassparsjon avskjæringsmerker 41 og 42 på figur 7 og 8. Det er Innlysende at disse avskjæringsimerker ved den ovenfor beskrevne fremgangsmåte alltid kommer til å Ugge på siden av åpningen 23 i bunnen av bæreorganet 18. Videre kommer den del av glassporsjonen som synker gjennom åpningen og av hvilken det skal blåses en hul gjenstand, ikke i berøring med de forholdsvis kalde deler av bæreorganet.
Det er ønskelig at hver av de glassporsjoner som skal anbringes på bæreorganet 15 alltid synker med den midtre del gjennom åpningen 23 av bæreorganet. For bedre å forstå den løsning som tilveiebrin-ges ved oppfinnelsen skal der beskrives et utførelseseksempel under henvisning til figurene 10 og 11. Når bæreorganet 15 beveger seg under avskjæringsmekanismen og en flat glassporsjon 12 i utstrakt til-stand legger seg på bæreflaten 18, blir en trykkramme 40 i pilretningen 39 på figur 10 anbrakt på bæreorganet, hvorved der oppnås at den rundt åpningen 23 liggende del av glassporsjonen trykkes mot den indre vegg av de opprettstående kanter 37 og bare den midtre del av glassporsjonen synker gjennom åpningen 23. Ved utførel-sesformen ifølge figur 11 ev den avtag-bare trykkramme 40 forsynt med en frem-springende kant 47, slik at der oppnås et enda bedre fasthold av den del av glassporsjonen som ligger rundt åpningen 23.
For bearbeidelse av en glassporsjon til en hul gjenstand kan anvendes en anordning som vist på figur 12. I en plate 43 er en ring 45 med en tankrans 44 dreibart lagret ved hjelp av kuler 46. Ringen 45 har en firkantet utsparing i hvilken et bæreorgan 15 sentreres. Videre er der anordnet en dor 48 med en sentral boring 47 som er vertikalt bevegelig i forhold til platen 43. Virkemåten er som følger: Et bæreorgan 15 som er forsynt med en glassporsjon og en trykkramme 40 settes på ikke nærmere beskrevet måte inn i den firkantede åpning i ringen 45. Deretter beveges doren nedover og trykker med sin nedre del på glassporsjonen som vist på figur 12, slik at glassporsjonen fordeles jevnt på en del under flaten 49 og en del over flaten 49. Derved trykkes glassporsjonen således inn i bæreorganet at alltid et tilnærmet likt glassvolum synker gjennom åpningen 23. Den nedsunkne del av hver porsjon kan da på kjent måte formes til en glasskolbe 36 under samtidig dreining og varmetilførsel som antydet med 50, og tilførsel av luft gjennom boringen 47 i doren 48. På denne måte formes der sluttelig en glasskolbe 36 og denne forming behøver ikke nærmere forklares her, da den er alminnelig kjent.
Ved utførelseseksemplet ifølge figur 12 gikk man ut fra at bæreorganet 15 sammen med glassporsjonen og trykkrammen 40 var satt inn i utsparingen i ringen 45. Det er innlysende at det endelige resultat også kan oppnås, når ved anordningen ifølge figur 12 såvel trykkrammen 40 som doren 48 er utformet vertikalt bevegelig. I dette tilfelle blir bæreorganet 15 bare med den påliggende glassporsjon satt inn i ringen 45, hvoretter først trykkringen 40 trykkes på porsjonen og deretter doren 48 beveges nedover.
Ved visse glassorter er på grunn av let-tere bearbeidelse temperaturen av den fra
utmatningsinnretningen uttredende glass-streng så høy at en porsjon som skjæres av allerede synker gjennom åpningen 23 i bæreorganet 15 før for eksempel avskjæ-ringsbevegelsen er avsluttet. I dette tilfelle kan som vist på figurene 13 og 14 anordnes en svingbar bunndel 56. Akselen 55 for bunndelen 56 er lagret i legemet 57 i hvilket den settes inn i den firkantede utsparing i ringen 45 (figur 12). Bunndelen 56 kan da trykkes så lenge mot undersiden av bæreorganet 15 inntil glassporsjonen er fullstendig avskåret fra glasstrengen.
Flere av det ovenfor beskrevne bæreorgan 15 kan for eksempel i tur og orden etter hverandre anordnes slik at de beveges langsetter under utløpsåpningen 6 i bunnen av utmatningsinnretningen og under avskjæringsmekanismen. Bevegelsen av de enkelte bæreorganer må da være innbyrdes således synkronisert at der på hvert bæreorgan legges på samme måte en avskåret glassporsjon som forklart ovenfor under henvisning til figurene 3, 5 og 7.
