Description
Varmeimpulsstempel for sveisning av termoplast.
Oppfinnelsen angår et varmeimpulsstempel hvorved det er mulig i løpet av en
arbeidsoperasjon å tilveiebringe en sveise-søm som i seg selv er lukket og som har
en vilkårlig ønsket form. Ved den økende
bruk av termoplastiske materialer og spesi-elt for innpakningsformål, er kravet til
form og utseende av innpakningsutstyr økt.
Tett forsegling av innpakningsutstyr av
termoplastisk materiale avhenger av typen
av det materialet som brukes og av mate-rialtykkelsen, og det avhenger videre av
om høyfrekvenssveisning eller varmeimpulssveisning benyttes. Ved hjelp av høy-frekvenssveisning kan en hvilken som helst
ønsket form av sveisesøm oppnås. Hittil
har bruk av varmeimpulssveisning vært be-grenset til rettlinjede og buede sveisesøm-mer, men er ikke anvendt til sømmer som
i seg selv er lukket. Høyfrekvenssveisning

Heft 2.
For i en arbeidsoperasjon å kunne lage
sveisesømmer av lukket form, med materialer som ikke er egnet for høyfrekvens-sveisning, er det ifølge den foreliggende
oppfinnelse foreslått å benytte et varmeimpulsstempel som utmerket seg ved at et
bånd som brukes til heteelement er anord-net på høykant og spiralformet viklet rundt
et kjølelegeme og fortrinnsvis holdt på
plass ved hjelp av et omsluttende press-
legeme, og således at der mellom de indi-viduelle vindinger på hetebåndet samt også mellom båndet og kjølelegemet på i og for seg kjent vis er viklet et varmeisolerende lag som har en relativt liten elektrisk ledningsevne.
På den vedlagte tegning er et varmeimpulsstempel vist. På kjølelegemet 1 er et hetebånd 2 viklet på høykant og utstyrt med et mellomliggende lag 3 av varmeisolerende materiale. Den ene ende av hetebåndet er festet til kjølelegemet mens den andre ende er isolert og koblet til kraft-tilførselskilden. Rundt hetespiralen er an-ornet et presslegeme 4 for å holde spiralen i stilling. Formen på kjølelegemet og føl-gelig også på hetebåndet avhenger av den ønskede form av sømmen.

- Varmeimpulsstempel for sveisning av termoplast hvor sveisesømmen danner en lukket kurve, karakterisert ved at et bånd (2) som benyttes som heteelement er an-ordnet på høykant i forhold til sveisesøm-mens plan, idet det sammen med et blad-formet isolasjonsmateriale (3) er viklet rundt et kjølelegeme (1) og fortrinnsvis holdt på plass ved hjelp av et omsluttende presslegeme (4), hvor isolasjonsmaterialet er varmeisolerende og har relativt liten elektrisk ledningsevne.
