Abstract

The conveyor chain comprises a number of links, each comprising a number of components. In the transverse direction the connecting points at front and rear are in different positions. Each component can have front and rear portions, joined by a pair of bridge-pieces, and these portions can have openings in which stainless steel pins are fitted, to join them together into a chain. One of the coupling points of the rear part of the front link can be between the front parts of the one behind, and there can be end pieces of both ends, each with coupling and rear positions. The link can be of synthetic resin, reinforced by glass-fibre.
