Abstract

The conveyor for unseparated root crops has articulated cross bars forming an endless chain trained over two toothed end wheels. Pairs of adjacent cross bars are assembled by pivot links, each having two cylindrical pins received in tubular extensions of the cross bars. Each cross-bar pref. includes two horizontal metal plates joined at their longitudinal edges and by intermediate bracing elements. The transverse edges of these plates are welded to the tubular extensions which also form the transverse surfaces of each cross bar.
