Abstract

The arrangement comprises a housing with two end covers (1, 2) one or more intermediate elements (13, 14) with internal spherical surface, a shaft (3) carried in at least one end cover (1), a non-rotating swash plate (4) in the housing, bearings (5, 6, 7) between the swash plate and a shaft member such that rotation of that member causes a reciprocating movement of the swash plate, and one or more partitions (16), sealing means being provided between the housing and the partitions or between the partitions and the swash plate. Each partition is contained in a slot of the swash plate thus creating chambers whose volume raises as the shaft rotates. A single partition may be provided connected (17) to the housing.
