1372865 Oscillating vane compressor WYZSZA SZKOLA INZYNIERSKA 4 Nov 1971 51262/71 Heading F1F An oscillating-vane compressor comprises a rotor 7 having at least one diametral vane 6 located in a housing 1 having at least one pair of abutments 5, forming chambers 9 having a centrally located inlet port 2 and at least one outlet port 4, the rotor 7 being supported on bearings separated from the working chambers by seals. The rotor is oscillated by a linkage system 11, a cam and lever arrangement, Figs.5, 6 (not shown) or an oscillating motor, Fig.4 (not shown). The seals are preferably labyrinthine or of materials not requiring lubrication e.g. graphite or PTFE.
