Abstract

The filler is used in an amount of 20-80 weight % of the whole composition. The SiC has varying grain size, especially 200-500 mu and the fine grain size of 10 mu. The resin is a mixture of 20-70 weight % of triglycidyl isocyanurate with a bisphenol epoxy resin; the hardener is endomethylene tetrahydrophthalic acid. The composition is used for machine parts and similar constructions which come into contact with abrasive materials or acid or alkaline nature, under varying temperature conditions. The resin composition is cheaper than metals, hard porcelain and soft rubber.
