Abstract

El colesterol de la piel es medido aplicando una cinta adhesiva sobre un area seleccionada de la piel para adherir la cinta al area de la piel seleccionada y retirar por desprendimiento la cinta del area de la piel seleccionada para obtener una muestra representativa de la capa cornea externa de la piel, la muestra se adhiere a la cinta para tener los constituyentes de la piel expuestos. La muestra es ensayada utilizando un reactivo detector que se aglutina especificamente al colesterol y que tiene ademas un componente indicador que permite la cuantificacion de la cantidad del colesterol presente en los constituyentes de la piel expuestos.
