Abstract

Para una transmision de redundancia creciente (IR - incremental redundancy) en un sistema MIMO, un transmisor procesa (por ejemplo, codifica, particiona, distribuye, y modula) un paquete de datos con base en una tasa seleccionada para obtener multiples bloques de simbolos de datos. El transmisor transmite un bloque de simbolos de datos a la vez hasta que un receptor recupera correctamente el paquete de datos o cuando se han trasmitido todos los bloques. Cuando se recibe un bloque de simbolos de datos proveniente del transmisor, el receptor detecta un bloque de simbolos recibidos para obtener un bloque de simbolos detectados, procesa (por ejemplo, demodula, agrupa, reensambla, y decodifica) todos los bloques de simbolos obtenidos para el paquete de datos, y proporciona un paquete decodificado.
