Abstract
La presente invencion ha incorporado un gen marcador seleccionable negativo no letal en el ADN de estructura de base del vector de un plasmido de ADN utilizado para transformar celulas vegetales; estos transgenes se disenan para expresar un producto genico no letal en celulas vegetales que contienen el ADN de estructura de base del vector del plasmido de ADN; los productos genicos del gen marcador seleccionable negativo no letal se abarcan en trayectorias de biosintesis de hormona vegetal, diversion del substrato de hormona vegetal, degradacion de la hormona vegetal, senalizacion de la hormona vegetal o interferencia metabolica; el uso de estos plasmidos de ADN para transformar las celulas vegetales proporciona la produccion mejorada de plantas comercialmente viables.
