Abstract

Se describe una composicion de poliol que comprende un poliol de polieter aromatico, preferiblemente basado en el producto de condensacion de un fenol con un aldehido y como agente bloqueador, acido formico. La composicion de poliol encuentra utilidad en la fabricacion de espumas de poliuretano y particularmente de poli-isocianurato que tienen como caracteristicas atractivas la retardacion de flama y la generacion de humo reducida.
