Abstract

Un vector de ADN que permite la insercion estable y la expresion de genes heterologos en los genomas de plastidios de celulas de cualquier planta Angiosperma; en este vector los genes a introducir se pueden insertar en multiples sitios de clonacion localizados en una region intergenica artificial que se obtiene de combinar los operones atpB y rbcL pertenecientes a plantas de clases diferentes (dicotiledoneas o monocotiledoneas); el casete de expresion se integra al genoma mediante la recombinacion entre las secuencias bordes atpB y rbcL del vector, con las correspondientes regiones homologas del genoma plastidico, pudiendo expresarse mas de un gen de interes a partir del promotor rbcL adyacente a la region borde que codifica para el gen atpB.
