Abstract

"VETOR DE DNA, CULTURA, PLANTAS ANGIOSPéRMICAS TRANSPLASTÈMICAS, PROGENIE DAS MESMAS E PURIFICAçãO E UTILIZAçãO DA PROTEìNA OU PROTEìNAS QUE PRODUZEM AS CELULAS DAS PLANTAS". A invenção refere-se a um vetor de DNA que permite a inserção estável e a expressão de genes heterólogos nos genomas de plastídios de células de qualquer planta angiospérmica. Neste vetor, os genes a serem introduzidos podem ser inseridos em múltiplos sitios de clonagem localizados em uma região intergênica artificial que se obtém combinando os óperons atpB e rbeL pertencentes a plantas de classes diferentes (dicotiledóneas ou monocotiledóneas). A cassete de expressão é integrada no genoma mediante recombinação entre as seq³ências de borda atpB e rbcL do vetor, com as correspondentes regiões homólogas do genoma plastidico; sendo possível expressar mais de um gene de interesse a partir do promotor rbcL adjacente à região de borda que codifica para o gene atpB.
