Abstract
Se describe un procedimiento para producir plantas transgenicas multicelulares o partes de las mismas que expresen un rasgo de interes, el rasgo tiene una distribucion controlada del rasgo a la descendencia, en donde el procedimiento comprende: (i) producir una primera planta o una celula de la misma que tenga en un primer locus un cromosoma nuclear de una primera secuencia nucleotidica heterologa que comprende un primer fragmento de una secuencia nucleotidica que codifica para el rasgo de interes, (ii) producir una segunda planta o una celula de la misma que tenga, en un segundo locus de un cromosoma nuclear homologo al cromosoma nuclear de la etapa (i) una segunda secuencia nucleotidica heterologa que comprende un segundo fragmento de la secuencia nucleotidica que codifica para el rasgo de interes, y (iii) hibridizar la primera y segunda plantas o celulas de las mismas para generar descendencia que muestre el rasgo funcional de interes debido a la union entre una proteina o polipeptido codificado por la primeras secuencia nucleotidica heterologa y una proteina o polipeptido codificado por la segunda secuencia nucleotidica heterologa. Ademas, la invencion proporciona un procedimiento para producir semillas hibridas para agricultura.
