Abstract

Se describe un proceso para recuperar energia de un gas que tiene una temperatura superior a 650°C y una presion absoluta mayor que 1.7 bar y que comprende compuestos y particulas que contienen alcalis no solidificadas mediante la realizacion de las siguientes etapas: (a) enfriamiento del gas hasta una temperatura inferior a 550°C por medio de un intercambiador de calor de coraza y tubo (6), en donde el gas caliente pasa del lado de la coraza y el agua de enfriamiento pasa en el lado del tubo, en donde se forma vapor, del cual se recupera energia de vapor, (b) separacion de las particulas del gas por medio de uno o mas dispositivos de separacion centrifuga dispuestos de manera secuencial (7, 8) hasta un nivel de polvos inferior a 400 mg/Nm3, (c) expansion del gas en un expansor (13) para recuperar energia.
