Abstract
Para crear un material de emision de electrones de campo, se imprime sobre un sustrato (1501) una tinta (1503) que comprende un componente principal de vehiculo de fluido; un primer componente menor de material electricamente aislante, ya sea como tal o provisto dentro de un precursor del mismo; y un segundo componente menor de particulas electricamente conductoras (1504); la tinta impresa es tratada para expulsar el componente principal y crear el material de emision de electrones de campo a partir de los componentes menores sobre dicho sustrato; las particulas electricamente conductoras pueden ser omitidas, para imprimir una capa solida electricamente aislante en un dispositivo de emision de campo.
