Abstract
Se describe un sistema para secar reactivos quimicos sobre material, en particular para obtener producto usado para fabricar tiras de prueba reactivas; mediante el secado de quimicos seleccionados sobre substrato extraidos mas alla de una fuente de energia radiante, de preferencia una fuente de energia IR, se puede lograr secado rapido mientras se obtiene producto de alta calidad; se puede proveer flujo de aire suficiente para romper o perturbar una capa limitrofe de vapor arriba de la solucion de secado, para incrementar las velocidades del secado; cualquier flujo de aire provisto no debe perturbar la superficie de la solucion; sin embargo, se pueden usar tecnicas de secado por choque de aire en el sistema, para terminar el secado del material reactivo una vez que esta suficientemente seco para tener una forma estable; el substrato sobre el cual los quimicos se secan, puede incluir un recubrimiento reflexivo para facilitar su uso con altos niveles de energia radiante; se usa en forma ventajosa un substrato metalico o metalizado para producir tiras de prueba electroquimicas; dichas tiras de prueba se pueden usar en conjunto con varios equipos, y se pueden leer en forma conveniente usando medidores manuales conocidos.
