Abstract
La presente invencion se relaciona con un aparato y un proceso para producir oxido de zinc a partir de un material que lleva zinc. El proceso de acuerdo con la invencion presente comprende los pasos de lixiviar el material complejo de sulfuro con acido clorhidrico y oxigeno; precipitar el hierro de la solucion de lixiviacion utilizando oxido de magnesio y oxigeno; remover el cobre, plata, cadmio, cobalto y plomo de la solucion de lixiviacion por medio de cementacion del polvo de zinc; precipitar el oxido de zinc de la solucion de lixiviacion utilizando oxido de magnesio; y tostar por aspersion la solucion de lixiviacion de cloruro de magnesio restante para regenerar el acido clorhidrico y el oxido de magnesio. La invencion presente se relaciona ademas con el proceso para recuperar cobre, plata, plomo y hierro de los materiales complejos de sulfuro.
