Abstract

Fuente de luz en particular un foco de luz que comprende un foco (1), un filamento (2), localizado en el foco (1), y un dispositivo de calentamiento (3) para el filamento en donde el filamento emite tanto luz visible como radiacion termica. En vista de la alta eficiencia de conversion entre la energia electrica suministrada y la luz emitida, la fuente de luz esta configurada de tal manera que el filamento (2) tiene una seccion plana (4). Una fuente de luz de este tipo puede producirse por un procedimiento en el cual un filamento (2) se fabrica primeramente a partir de un metal en polvo sinterizado. Luego el filamento (2) se expone a una . atmosfera de dioxido de carbono o de gas noble y dioxido de carbono para formar un carburo metalico. Finalmente el filamento (2), se sella o encierra dentro del foco (1).
