Abstract
Se describe un sistema de modulacion de capacidad continua mejorado para compresores del tipo en espiral en el cual un cuerpo de valvula de un ensamble de valvula solenoide se asegura a la pared interior de la cubierta hermetica y la bobina de activacion se monta en la superficie exterior de la misma. La bobina de activacion incluye un miembro de piston/valvula que coopera con los pasajes proporcionados en el cuerpo de valvula para selectivamente activar el arreglo de modulacion de capacidad utilizando fluido comprimido. La construccion ofrece la ventaja de que todas las lineas de presion de fluido estan localizadas dentro de la cubierta hermetica y de este modo estan protegidas de un dano potencial, la bobina solenoide puede facilmente cambiarse/reemplazarse para acomodar diferentes voltajes de operacion disponibles y/o el mal funcionamiento de la misma y el sistema puede facilmente probarse antes de la soldadura final de la cubierta exterior. La bobina de activacion es controlada por una Modulacion de Anchura de Impulsos para reducir la demanda de carga del compresor durante los momentos cuando se requiere la desconexion de carga.
