Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para la activacion o la renovacion de un catalizador en la presencia de un líquido de hidrocarburos, tal catalizador que comprende un compuesto de metal del Grupo Ib, VIIb o VII, poniendo en contacto el catalizador con un gas que contiene hidrogeno a una presion parcial de hidrogeno de por lo menos 15 bares abs. La presente invencion se refiere adicionalmente a un proceso de síntesis de hidrocarburos, que comprende activar o renovar un catalizador de síntesis de hidrocarburos en la presencia de un líquido de hidrocarburos, poniendo en contacto el catalizador con un gas que contiene hidrogeno a una presion parcial de hidrogeno de por lo menos 15 bares abs; y, a continuacion, poner en contacto el catalizador con una mezcla de hidrogeno y monoxido de carbono en condiciones de reaccion de síntesis de hidrocarburos.
