Abstract
Se presenta un sistema de enfoque especial para variar la distancia virtual a un objeto en donde la cámara tiene un barril de lente de enfoque que se mueve en cuando menos dos direcciones. El sistema de enfoque comprende un conmutador para seleccionar una operacion de enfoque de la cámara. Un codificador detecta una posicion del barril de lente de enfoque y genera una señal de posicion de enfoque que representa la posicion de enfoque detectada. Una memoria almacena los datos de error de foco para cada posicion de enfoque y para cada direccion de enfoque en cada posicion de enfoque. Un impulsor de motor de enfoque impulsa a un motor de enfoque que mueve el barril del lente de enfoque en las direcciones de enfoque. Finalmente, un controlador controla la cámara al impulsar al motor de enfoque en una direccion del motor en tanto que el conmutador está accionado, impulsa al motor de enfoque durante un período de tiempo predeterminado en la direccion del motor después que se ha soltado el conmutador, y calcula un valor de correccion autoenfocante basado en la posicion de enfoque detectada y en los datos de error de foco correspondiente a la posicion de enfoque detectada.
