Abstract

La presente invencion provee un método y un aparato para formar una corriente pulsada de partículas discretas de material absorbente. El aparato comprende un aparato de dosificacion de partícula (80) para proveer una corriente (82) de partículas que tienen una velocidad de flujo en masa predeterminada, un expulsor que tiene una boquilla de aire de aceleracion (130) para acelerar la corriente de partículas, por lo menos una boquilla de aire de desaceleracion (210) y válvulas (400) para dirigir alternativamente el aire a través de las boquillas de aceleracion y desaceleracion. El aparato puede ser utilizado para tomar una trama fibrosa que tiene una variacion predeterminada en el peso base del material absorbente a lo largo de la longitud de la trama.
