Abstract
La invencion se relaciona con una suspension acuosa de sílice de precipitacion, caracterizada porque su concentracion de material seco está comprendida entre 10 y 40% en peso, su viscosidad es inferior a 4 x 10 a la -2 Pa.s para un corte de cizallamiento de 50 s a la -1 y la cantidad de sílice contenida en el sobrenadante obtenido después de la centrifugacion de la suspension a 7500 revoluciones por minuto durante 30 minutos representa más del 50% en peso de la sílice contenida en la suspension. La distribucion del tamaño de grano de los aglomerados suspendidos es de tal manera que su diámetro promedio. D50 es inferior a 5 æm y el factor de desaglomeracion FD es superior a 3 ml. Esta suspension puede ser utilizada para producir recubrimientos anticorrosion, para la preparacion de concretos, papel o pegamentos minerales.
