Abstract

La invencion se refiere aun procedimiento para la preparacion de un polímero de etileno, una alfa-olefina y opcionalmente un dieno, de acuerdo al cual estos monomeros se polimerizan bajo la influencia de un catalizador de metaloceno, tomando lugar la polimerizacion en presencia de un catalizador que comprende un 2-indenil-metaloceno específico lo que da como resultado un polímero elastomero bimodal con una distribucion de peso molecular de más de 3.5, bajo condiciones de reaccion tales que la cantidad de agua en el medio de polimerizacion es más pequeña que 0.5 ppm; la invencion también se refiere a polímeros con un índice de ramificacion específico.
