Abstract

La invencion tiene por objeto un horno (1) para la fusion de materias vitrificables que comprenden un compartimento (2) de fusion y de afinacion de vidrio, provisto, hacia atrás, con cuando menos un medio de alimentacion (4) de materias vitrificables, y que desemboca, hacia adelante, en un compartimiento o una sucesion de compartimientos (6-7-8) destinado (s) para conducir el vidrio fundido hasta la zona de formacion. Está provisto con un primer medio de control de los flujos convectivos que accionan al amsa del vidrio fundido bajo la forma de un umbral transversal (14) que delimita una zona "atrás" (3) y una zona "adelante" (5). Se asocian a ese umbral, medios complementarios de control de los flujos convectivos en zona "atrás", de los cuales cuando menos unos son medios de calentamiento (15) "atrás", sumergidos y localizados a proximidad y atrás del umbral, a fin de impedir el regreso del vidrio fundido que llego en la zona "adelante", hacia la zona "atrás". La invencion tiene también por objeto la aplicacion y el procedimiento de puerta en obra de un horno de ese tipo.
