Abstract
Un método para formar un catalizador particularmente útil en la reacciónde etileno, oxígeno y ácido acético en la fase de vapor para formaracetato de vinilo comprende impregnar un soporte poroso con sales solublesen agua de paladio y de oro, fijar el paladio y el oro sobre el soportecomo compuestos insolubles en agua poniendo en contacto el soporteimpregnado con sal con una solución reactiva en dos etapas de fijaciónpor separado, en donde el soporte tratado se seca y deja reposar antes deltratamiento en la segunda etapa para precipitar los compuestos insolublessobre el soporte y reducir los compuestos insolubles a paladio y orolibres. Los catalizadores preparados de esta manera han demostrado tenermejora con respecto a la selectiva reducida para CO2 durante la reacciónde formación de acetato de vinilo.
