Abstract
Una máquina esmeriladora que utiliza bandas abrasivas múltiples,paralelas, sinfín, para esmerilar de una manera simultánea variasuperficies de una pieza de trabajo, tales como lóbulos de leva de unárbol de levas. La máquina esmeriladora incluye un conjunto de cabeza decontorno que incluye una pluralidad de unidades de alimentación decontorno, incluyendo cada unidad de contorno, incluyendo cada unidad decontorno una zapata de respaldo curva, un sujetador de zapata de respaldo,un adaptador para montar el sujetador de zapata, y un mecanismo debola-engrane dentado que se asegura al adaptador para transmitir energíadesde un motor de impulso hasta la zapata de respaldo, para oprimir unabanda abrasiva, asociada con la zapata de respaldo, contra la pieza detrabajo. Se define un labio de localización sobre cada adaptador, y seestablece un cojinete de preferencia sobre el conjunto de cabeza decontorno.
