Abstract

Esta invención se refiere a un sistema de reactor de lecho fluidizado y a un método para la operación del mismo, en el cual un lecho fluidizado de partículas finas, es quemado en un reactor, formando una mezcla de gases de combustión y de partículas relativamente finas, arrastradas por los gases de combustión. La mezcla se hace pasar hasta un separador, el cual separa las partículas finas arrastradas de los gases de combustión. Los gases de combustión se hacen pasar hasta un área de recuperación de calor, para la extracción de la energía térmica, y las partículas finas separadas se colectan en un sello con una sección o miembro en declive. Una porción de las partículas finas separadas se hace pasar al reactor y la porción restante se descarga al área re recuperación de calor, en donde las partículas finas se mezclan con los gases de combustión y el calor es recuperado de esta última mezcla.
