Abstract

"APARELHO E MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO DE UM FLUXO DE AR QUE CONTéM MATERIAIS EM PARTìCULAS, MéTODO PARA O TRATAMENTO DAS EMISSõES DE UMA USINA OPERADA COM CARVãO, MéTODO PARA REDUZIR O DESPERDìCIO NOS ATERROS DE RESìDUOS, MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE MATERIAL DE CALCAR". Trata-se de um aparelho (10) e um método para recuperar carbono elementar, enxofre elementar, ferro elementar, ouro elementar e outros materiais elementares de um fluxo de ar, o qual inclui um receptor com formato de funil (14) e um corpo de nodo de eletrodo com formato de cone invertido (12) espaçado do receptor de funil, uma zona de reação com formato de funil (45) entre a face exterior do corpo de nodo de eletrodo e a superfície interna (60) do receptor para receber o fluxo de ar, e uma pluralidade de eletrodos da fonte de pontos (36) montados ao corpo de nodo de eletrodo (12) e se projetando para a zona de reação (45). O corpo de nodo de eletrodo (12) e o receptor (14) são isolados eletricamente um do outro, o receptor (14) é conectado à terra, e uma fonte de voltagem é conectada eletricamente ao corpo de nodo de eletrodo (12). O aparelho e o método podem ser utilizados para o tratamento de um fluxo de ar que contém poluentes gerados da queima de combustíveis fósseis, lixo e outros materiais, para reduzir os óxidos em matéria elementar e água e para remover a matéria elementar do fluxo de ar, para o tratamento de emissões de usinas de força operadas com carvão para melhorar a sua eficiência através da recuperação de carbono das emissões da usina e da reutilização do carbono recuperado como combustível, para reduzir os requisitos de aterro mediante a queima de lixo em incineradores e o tratamento das emissões do incinerador para recuperar o material elementar, o qual é então aterrado em um espaço muito menor do que o lixo não queimado original, e para produzir material elementar valioso tal como material de calcar.
