Abstract
Se proporciona un método para precipitar un polímero y un catalizador organometálico desactivado en una reacción de oligomerización de olefina; el método incluye proporcionar un torrente efluente desde una reacción de oligomerización de olefina; el torrente efluente puede incluir un polímero y un catalizador organometálico; el método puede incluir además introducir partículas sorbentes en el torrente efluente; las partículas sorbentes pueden incluir un agente desactivador; el agente desactivador puede ser agua, un alcohol, una amina, un alcohol amínico o una combinación de estos; por lo menos aproximadamente 10 % de las partículas sorbentes pueden tener un tamaño particular en un intervalo de 10 µm a 60 µm; el método puede incluir además enfriar el torrente efluente, precipitando así el polímero y catalizador organometálico desactivado desde el torrente efluente para proporcionar un precipitado que incluye el sorbente, polímero y catalizador desactivado.
