Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con el campo de la detección de cáncer colorrectal (CRC). Específicamente, se relaciona con métodos para la detección temprana, análisis selectivo de riesgos y monitoreo de CRC y/o pólipos adenomatosos en un sujeto humano, con base en la cuantificación de una o más secuencias bacterianas de rDNA 16S en las heces. Además se relaciona con el uso de estas secuencias bacterianas como biomarcadores del cáncer colorrectal y/o pólipos adenomatosos, con un equipo que comprende un reactivo e instrucciones para la cuantificación de las secuencias bacterianas, y con ácidos nucleicos para la cuantificación de las secuencias bacterianas de rDNA 16S.
