Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para reducir un sabor indeseable en un producto seleccionado del grupo que consiste de un producto alimenticio, un producto dental, un producto para higiene oral y un producto medicinal, caracterizado porque comprende el paso de incorporar una composición enmascaradora de sabor comprende una cantidad efectiva enmascaradora de sabor que varía de 1 a 5000 ppm en peso de la composición de un extracto de raíz de Angelica, y en donde el extracto de Angelica se prepara por medio de un procedimiento que comprende los pasos de: (i) sumergir una raíz de una Angelica sinensis en un solvente seleccionado del grupo que consiste de agua, un solvente orgánico y una mezcla de los mismos; (ii) hacer circular el solvente de manera continua a través de la raíz de la Angelica sinensis a una temperatura que varía de temperatura ambiente a 100°C para proporcionar un extracto soluble; y (iii) recolectar el extracto soluble del paso (ii) y evaporar el solvente para proporcionar el extracto de la raíz de Angelica.
