Abstract
Se describe un método para la fabricación de un cable (1) de bucle cerrado, dicho cable comprende un núcleo (2) e hilos metálicos (3) devanados en una hélice alrededor del núcleo (2), en donde los dos extremos del cable están conectados en áreas de empalme en donde se forman nodos de empalme utilizando los extremos de cada uno de los hilos (2), que después se insertan en el cable después de haber removido localmente el núcleo (2) de ahí, cada área de empalme después se sobre-moldea con un polímero. La invención también se refiere a un método para la fabricación de un cable (1) de bucle cerrado, en donde los extremos de los hilos (2) se forran al sobre-moldearlos con un polímero, antes de insertar los mismos en el cable (1). Finalmente, se refiere a un cable (1) de bucle cerrado y al uso del mismo como un cable de tracción pura o como un cable de tracción de arrastre.
