Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un conjugado de insulina que tiene una afinidad de unión al receptor de insulina mejorada y una actividad aumentada, en el que se unen de modo específico de sitio un polímero no peptídico y una región Fc de inmunoglobulina a un resto de aminoácido de la cadena beta de la insulina excluyendo el extremo N-terminal de la misma por medio de un enlace covalente, una formulación de acción prolongada que incluye al mismo, y un procedimiento de preparación del mismo. El conjugado de insulina de la presente invención se usa para proporcionar una formulación de insulina que muestra una actividad notablemente aumentada in vivo del péptido.
