Abstract
Un proceso de polimerización de solución de doble reactor proporciona composiciones de polietileno de alta densidad que contienen un primer copolímero de etileno y un segundo copolímero de etileno y las cuales tienen una estabilidad dimensional alta, excelente procesabilidad así como también buenas propiedades organolépticas y resistencia razonable al agrietamiento por tensión. Las composiciones de polietileno son adecuados para aplicaciones de moldeo por compresión o moldeo por inyección y son particularmente útiles en la manufactura de tapas y dispositivos de cierre para botellas, especialmente botellas que contienen líquidos no presurizados.
