Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para controlar la formación de espuma de biotensioactivo que genera espuma durante la producción del mismo por una célula huésped en un medio de fermentación cuando la célula huésped secreta extracelularmente el biotensioactivo y el biotensioactivo es soluble en el medio de fermentación, caracterizado porque comprende, simultáneamente con la producción del biotensioactivo por la célula huésped, insolubilizar el biotensioactivo mediante precipitación con ácido sulfúrico o sulfato, para de esta manera controlar la formación de espuma dado que el biotensioactivo insolubilizado no produce espuma.
