Abstract
Se describe un dispositivo y un procedimiento para reducir el contenido de NOx y N2O en gases. El dispositivo comprende: A) un recipiente (1) y, dispuestos en él, B) dos etapas de reacción dispuestas una tras otra para la separación de NOx (etapa de DeNOx) mediante reducción de NOx con un agente reductor con contenido en nitrógeno y, dispuesta a continuación, para la separación de N2O mediante descomposición catalítica de N2O en N2 y O2 (etapa de DeN2O) que en cada caso se componen de uno o varios lechos de catalizador (7, 8), y que son recorridas por el gas a purificar, en donde C) el al menos un lecho de catalizador de la etapa de DeNOx (7) contiene un catalizador para la reducción de NOx con agentes reductores con contenido en nitrógeno, que contiene zeolitas dotadas con metales de transición, incluidos los lantánidos, D) el al menos un lecho de catalizador de la etapa de DeN2O (8) contiene un catalizador para la descomposición de N2O en N2 y O2 que contiene uno o varios compuestos catalíticamente activos de elementos elegidos de los grupos 5 a 11 del Sistema Periódico de los Elementos, exceptuadas zeolitas dotadas con hierro, y E) delante de la etapa de DeNOx (7) está previsto un dispositivo para incorporar un agente reductor con contenido en nitrógeno en la corriente del gas con contenido en NOx y N2O. La combinación de catalizadores utilizada de acuerdo con la invención permite una estructura muy sencilla y un funcionamiento muy rentable del reactor.
